Speakers highlight 2009 NSIAAA Convention!

The 2009 edition of the Fall Convention was highlighted by a variety of outstanding speakers.

Trev Alberts spoke to the AD's about his new position and new challenges at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The vision for UNO Athletics is a bright one!

Randy Jones, 1976 National League Cy Young Award Winner entertained the convention crowd with his humorous baseball stories from his days with the San Diego Padres and New York Mets. Randy also got to enjoy some Nebraska pheasant hunting.

Lincoln attorney Karen Hasse was outstanding and animated as usual with her annual presentation of legal issues that are currently occurring in high schools in Nebraska and across the nation.

Chadron, Nebraska native and current National Federation of High Schools "guru" Bob Colgate made an excellent presentation to the AD's about the new rules and issues that are coming to the forefront in high school athletics.
